TRADES 32F - Full Year

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Hill

Trades 32 extends the skills and knowledge of ITT22P and offers students the opportunity to apply them on real-world building projects.

A Level 3 project in Trades is one undertaken with limited supervision, using a broad range of tools, equipment, machinery and materials and involving a range of standard processes. The Level 3 unit standards do not specify particular projects. Instead, a project’s suitability is determined by its complexity and the ability of the student to meet the outcomes of the selected Level 3 unit standards. This provides flexibility for students (and their teachers) to choose projects according to their interests and circumstances.

It is expected that students will achieve between 14-20 credits during the year long course.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Materials for take home projects will be costed and a fee will be determined if the student wishes to take their project away.
