Course Description

Semester 1
This course is intended to allow students to develop the skills they need to enter the workforce successfully.

Students will have the opportunity to:
• Become aware of the legal issues relating to employment and the rights and responsibilities of young people in the workplace
• Develop practical communication and social skills
• Develop a plan for a student’s future pathway
• Develop effective time management and personal presentation in the workplace

Future Possibilities
Employment, Tertiary study or further training.

This is an open entry course but may be suited to students that find areas of academic study in the senior school difficult, and/or are unclear of the future direction they will take.
