The emphasis of this course is to prepare students for Level 3 Calculus by focusing on Algebra and Calculus. Mathematical thinking and concepts are developed and placed in meaningful contexts.

**Future Possibilities**

Mathematics at this level is a recommended background subject for a range of careers and for further study in many areas. Students may progress to Calculus 31F.

**NB: To gain entry to Level 3 Mathematics courses, students need to successfully complete 2 semesters of Level 2 Mathematics.** For Calculus 31F the semesters would be Calculus 21S and either Mathematics 21S or Statistics 21S.
