DESIGN and TEXTILES TECHNOLOGY 21F - Full Year
Teacher in Charge: Ms T. Williams
Students design and make a textile garment using advanced pattern adaptions to ensure the garment fits a nominated person. Visual communication skills are used to generate design ideas which are guided by the development of a brief to address a technological issue.
This course aims to provide a grounding in important skills and knowledge that will continue to prepare students for Design and Textile Technology 31F as well as future tertiary education at providers such as Ara or design at University.

Recommended Prior Learning
Design and Textiles Technology 11F would be an advantage, but not essential.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
