HOSPITALITY - RESTAURANT SERVICE 22S - Semester
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss J. Coleman
Students will complete a range of Level 2 Hospitality Unit Standards. Course content can include personal presentation, table service, waiting and serving hot and cold drinks.
This course enables students to;
• Learn about personal etiquette in the service industry
• Learn about setting and clearing tables in a range of function settings e.g. restaurants, community dinners and celebration dinners
• design menus
• visit a range of restaurants, hospitality providers and businesses
Students need to be available for 3 practical assessments that will occur outside of normal school hours. Dates will be published early in the year.

$90.00 for ingredients and kitchen uniform.
Recommended Prior Learning
An interest in food preparation and the service industry is required. Work experience dealing with customers is an advantage.
