MATHEMATICS 31F - Full Year

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Truesdale

The emphasis of this course is broader than the other 31F courses. It is a general course that offers a variety of different topics including some Calculus and some Statistics. Mathematical and statistical thinking are extended and placed in meaningful contexts.

If a student achieves 14 Level 3 credits in this course it will be counted as an approved subject for University Entrance.

Future Possibilities
This course provides the opportunity for students to leave their options open if they are unsure what they would like to do once they finish school. Many of the same fields as both of the other 31F courses offer, will still be open to them.


Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$25.00 for homework book. Students will require a graphics calculator ($20.00 per year – hired – numbers limited)
