Course Description

This course is suitable for students who have succeeded in English 21, English 22 or Media 21 and and wish to study English through visual texts.

This course is an academic English programme. It seeks to foster the skills needed to see how texts are created and structured for a particular purpose. It also focuses on improving and refining skills such as listening, reading, viewing, speaking, writing and presenting; all essential for life in the modern world.

Students will mainly focus on film to gain up to 20 Credits through mainly internal achievement standards. 

If a student achieves 14 Level 3 credits in this course, it will be counted as an approved subject for University Entrance.
