Year 10 Industrial Design - Half Year

Industrial Design is a technology driven course where students will design and build electronic and small-scale projects that utilise 3D printing, laser cutting, soldering circuit boards and Micro:bit programmable logic boards. Students will learn design skills and create their own designs for a range of projects. Sound designs, clock projects and more! Projects will be influenced by student interest in the class.   

Example: A Lighting project, clock or race car with 3D printed gears and Microbit logic board for control. 3D printing, laser-cutting, soldering and more will be used with a focus on a create project driven by design process and thinking to problem solve and create a robust designed solution.
