Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Truesdale

The course continues the development of the main stream of mathematics with particular emphasis on Calculus. Content also includes Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry and Trigonometry. Opportunities are sought to reinforce basic techniques and to provide practice in problem solving and applications.

If a student achieves 14 Level 3 credits in this course it will be counted as an approved subject for University Entrance.

Future Possibilities
This course is intended for students with a major interest in the continued study of Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Economics and Engineering. A reasonable grade in this course may help to ensure entry to a restricted university paper.
