MATHEMATICS with CALCULUS 21S - Semester
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs L. McElwain.
The emphasis of this course is to prepare students for Level 3 Calculus by focusing on Algebra and Calculus. Mathematical thinking and concepts are developed and placed in meaningful contexts.
Future Possibilities
Mathematics at this level is a recommended background subject for a range of careers and for further study in many areas. Students may progress to Calculus 31F.
NB: To gain entry to Level 3 Mathematics courses, students are encouraged to successfully complete 2 semesters of Level 2 Mathematics. For Calculus 31F the semesters should be Calculus 21S and could be combined with either Mathematics 21S or Statistics 21S.
