MATHEMATICS with CALCULUS 21S - Semester

The emphasis of this course is to prepare students for Level 3 Calculus by focusing on Algebra and Calculus. Mathematical thinking and concepts are developed and placed in meaningful contexts.
Mathematics at this level is a recommended background subject for a range of careers and for further study in many areas. Students may progress to Calculus 31F.
NB: To gain entry to Level 3 Mathematics courses, students need to successfully complete 2 semesters of Level 2 Mathematics. For Calculus 31F the semesters would be Calculus 21S and either Mathematics 21S or Statistics 21S.

Students will require a graphics calculator.
