Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs K. Langdon.
Supported Transition is a subject which has been designed to teach students about practical aspects of society.
Students will gain a variety of skills and knowledge in a diverse range of areas. There will be some credits on offer but the focus of the course is to develop students’ confidence, employability and life skills. Work experience opportunities may be offered.

Employability Skills
Budgeting and money management
Literacy and Numeracy skill development
Rights and responsibilities under the law
INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PROGRAMMES - At the beginnning of the course individual learning programmes will be created to meet students' specific needs. These programmes will be reviewed term by term.
Recommended Prior Learning
This programme is Open Entry. Students may need to meet with the Teacher in Charge prior to being placed in the course
