Year 10 Textiles Technology - Half Year

Are you passionate about creating? Do you want to lessen our impact on the environment by upcycling clothing/textiles that would otherwise end up in landfill? Then this course is for you. 

You will learn about the lifecycle of a garment and its impact on the environment. Through engaging in the design process, you develop your own ideas, then deconstruct your chosen item to best suit the need. You will be encouraged to work independently and to explore different ways to construct your item using existing materials, with a focus on reducing the waste.

This course will give you a good understanding for future study in Year 11 Textiles Technology.
